For coffee lovers out there, it was a day of great discovery at the Quiznos Hungry Guppies Attack (read about the event here). It all started innocently enough as the hungry guppies were also treated to some Tully’s coffee while they tucked into their sandwiches.

(But before that, the guppies got a little tour around Tully’s and got to understand a little bit more about all the tender loving care it takes to make that perfect cuppa.)

When the guppies got to munching on their Quiznos sandwiches, Tully’s got around to serving up their own offerings of hot and cold coffee.

From Tully’s we got to try their regular coffee, the White Chocolate Mocha and the Espresso Shake.

You could literally hear the “ooohs” and “aaahs” when the guppies started slurping their  Espresso Shake from those cute sample cups. That got this guppy curious, so I requested for some without looking too eager! And I tell you, it was love at first slurp!

This blended coffee is not overly sweet like the many iced coffee blends that I have tasted. The sweetness was just nice, which lets you savour the natural aroma of the coffee. The ice cream (blended in) also gave this to-die-for coffee shake its smooth, creamy texture. And to top it all up, it was so well blended that you don’t get the chunky ice shavings in your mouth. In one word … heavenly.

The Tully’s Espresso Shake was so divine and slurpelicious that one guppy I know asked for 4 servings!! Now this is from a guppy who doesn’t even normally drink coffee!

Soon, it was raves all around for this Tully’s discovery. Comments range from “super” to “very refreshing”.  There were a few guppies who felt that it was just too sweet for them.  Hmm … maybe they can request to have more ice added without foregoing this fantastic discovery!
